Statement on accessibility

The URZ takes every effort to make the website fully accessible.

Legal foundations are the German Equality for Persons with Disabilities Act (BGG), the Saxon Inclusion Act (SächsInklusG), the Saxon E-Government Act (SächEGovG) and the Barrier-Free Information Technology ordinance (BITV 2.0) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Accessibility is measured with respect to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, published in the form of a W3C recommendation (criteria of the European norm 301 549, version 2.1.2), and the refined BITV 2.0 (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung).

The website is founded on a central technical code base. Currently, it does not completely comply to the technical requirements according to BITV 2.0. Our code base is currently revised to increase the accessibility of the web site.
